The faculty and staff in the School of Nursing recently celebrated the contributions of Ellie Bethune at a farewell event held in her honour on April 11, 2013. She has retired after 33 years of dedicated service to student learning as a Senior Instructor. She has been an ambassador for the Clinical Skills Lab and for the School of Nursing, touching the hearts and minds of generations of student nurses.
Ellie has always greeted everyone with a ready smile, and is genuinely kind, with a warm sense of humour. She leaves a wonderful legacy to the Nursing profession and she will be greatly missed by students, faculty and staff. Thanks to all who dropped by the skills lab to wish her well, and congratulations to Ellie on her highly successful career!
