Back-to-school shopping will be interrupted by the sounds of farm animals again this year. Busy shoppers at Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth may be surprised to see sheep in the parking lot and apple pressing in the Bay Court.ÌýDon’t miss the Kilted Chef – Alain Bosse, who will be cooking up tasty treats from the Select Nova Scotia recipe book.Ìý Free samples on the hour from 11am to 5pm!ÌýAnd that’s just the beginning.The Faculty of Agriculture will also be on hand.

Meet Your Farmer at the Mall brings together commodity groups and rural organizations to give urban families a chance to learn about local farmers and Nova Scotia agriculture. Information booths and demos run from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day.
