The Dalhousie Sandboxes (“Dalboxes”) are recruiting for theDalbox Accessprogram!Dalbox Accessis afull-year experiential learningopportunity for students lookingforprofessional advancement opportunities. As a Dalbox Access participant, you will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop creative solutionstoaccessibility challenges. These solutions will be used tocompete in the national.There will be financial rewards for the competition winners.
The Details:
DalboxAccesswill kick off onOctober 1-2, 2021(Friday evening and Saturday until 2pm), and will thenrunevery twoweeks (on Wednesdays)ڰdzOctober2021 -March2022(no programing during exam time, reading week, or when the university is closed)
The program will be amix ofin-person and online meetingsthroughout the academic year
In-person programming will be in Halifax; transportationand hotelwill be provided to and from Halifax to students at the Truro campus
Participants can get up to43 volunteer hours
Participants who successfully complete the program will get aletter of reference(available upon request)
Participants have a chance to winmonetary prizes
