Department of Management Science & Information Systems
We combine analytical methods, technology, and decision-making tools to tackle complex design, planning, and management challenges, from manufacturing to service systems to non-profit organizations. Focusing on supply chain management, sustainable operations and logistics, business analytics, and information systems, the MS & IS Department bridges theory and practice to develop strategic problem-solving skills while partnering with the industry on real-world issues.
Students gain transformative experience and build careers in supply chain and operations, transportation and trade, consulting, data science, and research, preparing them for success in the digital economy. MS & IS faculty engage in advanced research using optimization, simulation, artificial intelligence, and analytics to prescribe insights and chart the best actions. The department cultivates innovation, critical thinking, and leadership in the evolving field of MS & IS.
